The West Tennessee Strawberry Festival is set to kick off in just under 7 weeks and plans are in place for one of our BEST festivals ever!
However, with the COVID-19 virus on the front of everyone’s mind, we wanted to update and assure you that while we are proceeding with our plans at this time, we are also well aware of the recent school closings and cancellations of events and sports for
the remainder of March and into April.
The current consensus with most events is to reevaluate the latest developments in early April and make a new determination going forward. With that in mind, we are monitoring this ever-changing situation and will continue doing so in the days and weeks ahead.
We are in close communication with our local government, public safety, and health officials, as well as other peers in our event and festival industry to ensure we take the neccessary steps to provide the safest events possible for our visitors, volunteers, vendors and staff. Safety is always our number one priority.
At this time (March 17th) we are all systems Go, but remain watchful in the coming weeks. We will be meeting again in April to make more determinations going forward as we get closer to May.
Please know that we are planning a fun and safe time here at the West Tennessee Strawberry Festival. Rest assured we place public safety and health first and we look forward to having you here in Humboldt May 3-9!

Right now discussions are still going on. A final decision will be made by April 13th.
