JSCC restricts campus access to key and essential personnel
Jackson, Tenn. (Mar. 24, 2020) – Given the evolving nature of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Governor’s office has asked all TBR campuses go to a fully-online format effective March 25 and to continue until April 6. Beginning March 25, only key and essential personnel will be allowed on the main campus of Jackson State Community College and all other JSCC locations throughout West Tennessee. There will be no general public or student access to campuses during this time period. The status of this rapidly evolving situation will be reevaluated in regard to alternate schedules beyond April 6 and notification will be given prior to that date.
During the campus closure, only one gate located on North Parkway will be open to allow for access to essential personnel. The main campus phone line, 731-424-3520, will be monitored during the regular business hours of 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
