The Humboldt Chamber of Commerce and Main Street Humboldt are excited to announce that we’ve been awarded one of the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development’s competitive Placemaker grants for 2024. This $45,000 award comes in the form of a series of workshops and virtual training sessions for all Humboldt Chamber businesses.
Sessions include an Omni-Chanel Retail Strategies Module. It includes on-demand virtual training for small businesses focused on getting online, working on their social media, remarketing and more.
There’s a Property Owner Training Module for those property owners focused on retail recruitment. It includes custom demographics, mobile data analysis and even real estate flyers.
Later in the Fall, there will be sessions on Holiday Trends and Preparations that will focus on trends and predictions and preparing your retail or restaurant business for the holidays. It will also provide those businesses with marketing materials and a social media graphics kit.
The final module will be specifically targeted at food and beverage businesses and will come down to a competitive application process to fill the few slots allotted. This will include 1:1 and group sessions during the 8-week on demand accelerator course. It covers everything from strategic marketing to HR and workforce development.
We’re thrilled to be working with TNECD and Retail Strategies to help our members and investors grow and thrive in their businesses. More information as well as dates will be coming after the New Year.
