Trenton, TN, April 24, 2024 – The Tennessee Department of Tourism awarded Gibson County a tourism grant totaling $124,139.26. The Gibson County Tourism Committee has awarded the
contract to Adelsberger Marketing to create the campaign. “We are thankful for the partnership from the Department of Tourism and the Governor’s office in helping draw more tourism dollars to Gibson County,” said Nelson Cunningham, Mayor of Gibson County.
Three local chambers will oversee the project: Greater Gibson County Area Chamber of Commerce led by Libby Wickersham, Humboldt Chamber of Commerce led by Amanda Love, and the Milan
Chamber of Commerce led by Kayley Coday. “This grant will allow us to build a new tourism campaign from the ground up to promote our county to the wider world. We will work to build resources we can use for years to come with this grant,” said Sandy Moss, County Tourism Committee Chairman.

The grant is funded by the State of Tennessee’s Department of Tourism. The Tennessee Tourism Hospitality Grant will run from April 2024 through June 2026.
