After its first cancellation in more than 70 years, the West Tennessee Strawberry Festival will be back with its strongest support yet!
Humboldt, Tennessee March 15th, 2021- The West Tennessee Strawberry Festival begins its 83rd year with more than 60 sponsorship commitments. When this year’s festival week begins on May 2nd it will take place due to the loyalty of some of West Tennessee’s finest businesses.
In anticipation of celebrating its 83rd year, the West Tennessee Strawberry Festival is eager to announce their top patrons. With its largest number of sponsors to date, the Festival will be back offering more than 20 events during the week of May 2nd – 8th , including a new crowd favorite “Opening Celebration” on Monday night. With the events that have taken place in our world the last year, our visitors and participant’s safety is a top priority. You will see a few events that we have pressed “pause” on for 2021 but hope 2022 brings back our full schedule of events. More bathrooms, hand-washing stations, sanitizing spots will be located at ALL events and areas on Main Street. Some events have new locations to help provide more space for participants to spread out.
Since 1934, the West Tennessee Strawberry Festival has been a premier event to this region, boasting crowds of over 75,000 visitors to the town of Humboldt. With over 20 events during the week- long Festival, it is your classic homecoming experience celebrating the best food, fun and entertainment all in a 9 block radius. It is sure to be the best 7 days of your life.
